This artwork grows out of long walks through changing seasons. A wild meadow shifts from soft, pale yellow light into brighter summer tones, marking the move from spring into warm summer days. Daisies, echinacea, and scattered meadow flowers appear and fade as the colour deepen. Thick oil paint is worked firmly into the surface; impasto and grainy, cracked textures break through the background, leaving hints of hidden flowers beneath. The paint carries movement, weather, and time — less a single view, more a journey through the season itself.
